This is a two-color print I made by carving a piece of linoleum. The first layer I carved and printed consisted of the plants and the snake. Then, I went back in and cut off the plants so that I could print the snake in black to allow it to stand out. I created a more organic pattern within the snake to match further with the florals. To ensure each print in this series matched, I made a stencil that I used to line up the piece of linoleum with the paper.
