For this project, I took the feeling of Imposter Syndrome and used metaphors of fading and misalignment to visualize and communicate it in four different ways: completely verbal, leaning on verbal while introducing visual, leaning on visual while still incorporating verbal, and completely visual. I created the visual of Imposter Syndrome by having the intrusive feelings and thoughts fade and separate from the main design to showcase the feeling of not belonging. This was paired with the contrasting, uncomfortable colors to give the anxious feeling that often accompanies Imposter Syndrome and circular shapes to show the spiraling thoughts.
